Usocore vaselines are a homogeneous mixture of non-polar long-chain paraffinic and crystalline hydrocarbons and are known for their high viscosity structure.

The vaselines can be subdivided into pharmaceutical and technical vaselines. There are for both groups hard to soft variants available (penetration factor); both groups of vaselines are produced in keeping with international law and legislation.

The vaselines from Usocore are mainly used in pharmaceutic and cosmetics applications (eye salves, creams and UV protectors) and in more technical applications, as a basis for anticorrosion products and cable compounds.
